WPRA barrel racer Shelly Morgan lost her great NFR horse Short Go over the weekend at San Angelo rodeo. Full details haven’t been released but the accident did not happen during her run. Thoughts and prayers to Shelly and family.

I am so very sorry for the news ~ it is shocking and horrible to learn that such an honest amazing horse will not be running ever again. Short Go became my favorite horse during the 2009 NFR and I am so sad to know how quickly life can change!
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Shelly, it is so hard to lose a friend.
